QUIZ SPAM TIEM, AGAIN....I just like these things too much for my own good. :B No loss. There's nothing to force you into reading my journals of fail.

Quiz I stole from: *shock777 :paranoid:

101 Questions You Should Be Able to Answer About Your Character
(Must be in OC’s POV)

Character: Rico
Affiliation: ...Huh? Affiliation to what?
Movie/Show: None. He's mine.

BASICS

1. What is your full name? Do you have a nickname?
"Ricardo. But you can call me Rico, or Richie. Or if it's really that difficult to remember, just call me V."

2. How old are you? When is your birthday?
"36, to the best of your knowledge. My birthday is...oh...fourteen days away on your time system?"

3. Where were you born? Where do you live now? Are you patriotic?
"I was born in the capital city of Denari, and I guess I never grew tired of the fast-paced metropolis lifestyle, since I now work in the largest city on this side of the map."

4. Who are/were your parents? (Names, occupations, personalities, etc.)
"...That's a good question. One I should probably have an answer to."

5. Do you have any siblings? What are/were they like?
"I hear I'm an only child."

6. What is your occupation?
"I'm the Mayor of Eclisca - the State Mayor, to be precise. I run the capital and oversee the actions of the regular city mayors, under the watchful eyes of President Demidov. Between you and me...I'm hoping he ends his term soon. :B"

7. How tall are you? How much do you weigh?
"5'11", about 170 pounds."

8. What color is your hair? What color are your eyes?
"Black, brown."

9. What is your race?
"Race? As in...Characteristics? Myself, I prefer the term nationality. I'm Puerto Rican-American. But all the same; I'm not even from your planet."

10. To which social class do you belong?
"I'm an N13. Which is the top end of the class spectrum. But I live with the middle class - the N4-N10 - on the surface of the city."

11. Do you consider yourself to be attractive? Do others?
"It doesn't really matter what I think. I'm not the one that has to date me."

12. What is your style of dress?
"Uhh. Suits, ties, shirts. Blazers. Y'know. A little bit 1950s, but without the hats."

13. Do you have any scars? Tattoos? Birthmarks? Other unique physical features?
"Nothing unique, no. I'm pretty average. People here compliment my lashes; but I don't see it as all that significant. It's not unique, that's for sure."

14. Do you have any allergies, diseases, or other physical weaknesses?
"Well, I'm not exactly Superman. I can't stop bullets with my fists, if that's what you're asking. I don't have any allergies or illnesses at the moment, but that doesn't make me infallible."

15. Are you right- or left-handed?
"Right."

16. What does your voice sound like?
"American. General American. None of this Accent-Dialect stuff."

17. What kind of vocabulary do you use?
"I use my fair share of low frequency words. If I'm having a discussion, I like to show that I know what I'm talking about."

18. List three quirks or other defining characteristics.
"You're a little forward, aren't you? This is probably something you should ask someone else. I'm not the sort of guy that takes note of his every action."

19. How often do you bathe? Do you wear perfumes?
"Shower, every morning. Perfume? I have the scent of a walking coconut."

20. What kind of facial expression do you commonly wear (dour glare, wry smile, etc)?
":plotting:+:D+:raincloud:+Someotherstuffthat'snotonhere."

21. Do you use body language? How?
"Like anyone else. I'm not particularly vocal with my hands, like some. But I can be. I couldn't tell you when I am and when I'm not. I don't consciously think about it."

22. Do you have a commonly used saying?
"Ohplz. To have a catchphrase is to be grouped amongst the characters we deem predictable. IRL, the cool guys aren't the ones with the catchphrases, are they?"

CHILDHOOD

23. What is your earliest memory?
"..."

24. How much schooling have you had? Did you enjoy it?
"It was a long time ago. I remember being a philosophy student at college...but most of my working life seems to have involved politics."

25. Where did you learn most of your knowledge and skill?
"Life experience, text books, college. The same way anyone learns."

26. How would you describe your childhood in general?
""

27. As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?
"! I remember once wanting to be a sky pirate...but thankfully I grew out of it. My first serious aspiration as a kid was to be a pro baseball player. I guess that didn't work out either."

28. When and with whom was your first kiss?
"...I can't remember."

29. Are you a virgin? If not, when and with whom did you lose your virginity?
"No...but I couldn't tell you who it was with, even if I wanted to. It's like there's a big hole in my brain. Or time's just catching up with me."

30. Do you have a notorious or celebrated ancestor? Does that affect you?
"...Yeah. But...I wont go into the details."

INFLUENCES

31. What do you consider the most important event of your life so far?
"I'll let you know when it happens."

32. What do you consider your greatest achievement?
"I haven't accomplished much."

33. What is your greatest regret?
"I regret every day in which I had to step off the train without an umbrella. Which is, in this city, a lot of days."

34. What is the most embarrassing or shameful thing ever to happen to you?
"Having to work the tills in a Denarian supermarket to pay for my tuition fees. It wouldn't have been so bad, if I hadn't kept running into people I knew."

35. Do you have any secrets? If so, what are they?
"My secrets are going to stay that way, if you don't mind."

36. What is the most evil thing you have ever done?
"I held a gun to someone's head once. A last resort for negotiations. It wasn't as though it was loaded, though."

37. When was the time you were the most frightened?
"The time someone set fire to my coat in a press conference...But we laughed about it, after."

38. Have you ever traveled outside of your country? If so, to where?
"Most places on the map. My job requires a lot of travel."

BELIEFS

39. What is your alignment?
"Like the other 99.9% of Ver'na; I'm an atheist. We don't have the same concept of an almighty creator/s as you."

40. Are you basically optimistic or pessimistic?
"I'm balanced. Being optimistic is just as bad as being a pessimist. It makes you blind to the truth."

41. Do you believe in a god? If so, which one and why?
"There is no God."

42. Do you believe in an afterlife?
"As far as being a mass of energy is concerned, yeah."

43. What is your greatest fear?
"Eternity."

44. What makes you angry? Sad? Happy? Why?
"Angry - Piracy. Happy - fixing things. I guess I'm just a well-organized man. I'm not affected much by what everyone else does, or how everything else is. It doesn't make me angry, sad, or bitter. I just feel like I should do something about it. Call it guilt, or some sort of moral obligation; I don't know. Whatever it is...I can't shake it."

45. Do you think people are basically good or basically evil?
"I'm not buying this innate evil theory of yours. We're not one or the other. We obtain the choice through the way we're brought up, the way our DNA is arranged; and the the environment we're exposed to."

46. What are your views on politics?
"HAHAHA. You have to ask?"

47. What are your views on gambling, lying, theft, and killing?
"Gambling is down to the individual...lying? That's a necessity. Theft and killing, on the other hand...well; I'm trying to fix those."

48. How far will you go to defend your beliefs?
"Not that far. Just because they're mine, doesn't mean they're right. But I'll defend the right I have to hold them."

49. How much do you value money?
"...It's worthless."

50. In your opinion, what is the most evil thing any human being could do?
"Promote ignorance."

51. Do you believe in self-sacrifice for the greater good?
"Sure...but if you're the kind of person that'd self-sacrifice, odds are, you'll do the 'greater good' if you're still alive."

52. Do you believe in the existence of soul mates and/or true love?
""

53. Are you superstitious?
"LOL. No, not really. I wouldn't call it that, exactly."

54. How much do you respect the beliefs and opinions of others?
"As much as I want my own to be respected."

55. How honest are you about your thoughts and feelings?
"If I'm asked, I'll tell. Keeping secrets isn't exactly being dishonest, though."

56. Do you have any biases or prejudices?
"No - that'd be irrational of me."

DEALING WITH OTHERS

57. Who is the most important person in your life, and why?
"...I don't have anyone that I'd put first."

58. Who is the person you respect the most? Despise the most? Why?
"Again, I'm pretty neutral with everyone."

59. Do you have a significant other? Who? Why?
"Nope. S'just me."

60. Do you have a lot of friends? Who is your best friend?
"LOLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL. Oh, please! Politicians having friends? What planet are you on?"

61. How do you relate to members of the same race? Class? Sex?
"Fine, I guess."

62. How do you relate to members of a different race? Class? Sex?
"No differently to anyone else."

63. Have you ever been in love? If so, describe what happened.
" I don't remember...so...I guess I haven't. Either that, or at some point I've suffered a blow to the head."

64. What do you look for in a potential lover?
"I'm not looking."

65. How close are you to your family?
“I don't really remember them.”

66. Do you want a marriage, family, and/or children?
;Probably not. I doubt I'd make a very good parent. The job would certainly make it difficult, anyway.”

67. Do you tend to argue with people, or avoid conflict?
“I argue to the extent of starting entire wars, if that's what it takes. Letting people walk all over you solves nothing.”

68. Are you a listener or a talker?
“I can be both – but I sure as hell prefer to talk.”

69. How long does it usually take for you to trust others?
“Time isn't an issue...You just have to earn it.”

70. Do you hold grudges?
“If I trust them, no. But then, if I trusted them, I probably wouldn't have a grudge to hold.”

71. Do you tend to take on leadership roles in social situations?
“If I didn't, I wouldn't be a very good political figure, would I?”

72. Do you like interacting with large groups of people?
:eager:!!! Yes, it's one of the best parts about this job.”

73. How well do you express yourself?
“As well as I need to...which isn't so great, I suppose. But I tend not to tell everyone everything.”

74. How quickly do you judge others?
“I judge people at first glance, on the surface...but I don't judge them, as much as I shove them into a social group. It's paranoia, more than anything. I blame this job – constantly having to check every corner...to make sure someone isn't planning to shoot you in the back.”

75. Do you care what others think of you?
“Only to the extent that it might affect my job prospects.”

76. Do you have any enemies? How or why are they your enemy?
“Enemies? No...it's too early for that.”

77. What is your favorite pastime? Color? Food? Possession?
“Baseball and work takes up a lot of my time. I'm not particularly fussy when it comes to the rest.”

78. What are your preferences in arts and/or entertainment?
“Movies?”

79. Do you smoke, drink, go whoring, or use drugs? Why or why not?
“LOL. Whoring. No...I don't. I probably smoke once every few years – and the same goes for drinking. I prefer to do things in moderation; and I'd rather not get an addiction for any of it.”

80. How do you spend a typical Saturday night?
“At work, sitting behind my desk. Filling out forms, signing things; checking out things at the station.”

81. What is your most cherished fantasy?

82. How long is your attention span?
“As far as quizzes are concerned, it's a little too short.”

83. Do you laugh a lot? What do you find funny?
:paranoid: Me? Laugh? LOLOLO-...What?”

84. Is there anything that shocks or offends you? If so, what?
“The NET system. Whoever invented it should be shot.”

85. How do you deal with stress?
“I throw things. Paper...folders...markers...chairs.”

86. How much athletic ability do you have? Artistic?
“I have pretty good endurance. I run a lot. I surprise myself sometimes, at how much I can cram into a single day.”

87. Do you like animals? Do you like children?
“It's not that I hate them...I just...I can't tolerate the noise. It's frustrating; and far too demanding.”
88. Are you spontaneous, or do you always need to have a plan?
“If I didn't have a plan, I'd be gliding through life, and I'd probably end up stuck in a tree. Having a plan is great. It's a good safety net...but...being stuck in the net isn't so great either. You need to balance it out.”

89. Do you have a pet? If so, what is his/her name? Species? Fur color? Etc…
“Naw.”

SELFIMAGE

90. What is your greatest strength as a person? Weakness?
“My greatest strength? My rationality. I'd say it's also my weakness....I can be rather cold at times.”

91. If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?
“I suppose I'd ask to be better looking.

92. Are you generally introverted or extroverted?
“I might be confident at work...but that doesn't change the fact that I'm not really a socialite. I hate being stuck in the house...but large crowds can make me feel anxious.”

93. Do you like yourself?
“...What kind of question is this!?”

94. Do you have a daily routine? How do you feel if your day is interrupted?
“Routines...naw. I mix things up a little. But I suppose there's limited ways of re-arranging the morning, unless I want to skip breakfast or miss my train.”

95. What goal do you most want to accomplish in the next six months? Your lifetime?
“I want to destroy NET. One way or another...I'll accomplish it...and unless someone shoots me; I'll live to witness it's demise.”

96. Where do you see yourself in 5 years? 10 years? 20 years?
5 years: “With my Denarian citizenship back. Maybe at the end of the war.”
10 years: “Hopefully, I'll have fixed things up by then. Maybe I can do something else...maybe – I was thinking about teaching, perhaps. Or maybe something else.”
20 years: “I haven't thought that far ahead.”

97. If you could choose, how would you want to die?
“I'd like to die the way I know I'll never be taken.” </cryptic>

98. What is the one thing you would like to be remembered for after your death?
“For anything. I don't mind if my name gets lost. I just don't want to be remembered as a tyrant.”

99. What three words would you use to best describe your personality?
“I don't know. :aww:

100. What three words would others probably use to describe you?
“They'd probably say I was arrogant, conceited and made of ice. Public acclaim for Mr. V isn't all it's cracked up to be, I'm afraid.”

101. Why are you risking your life to adventure?
“Adventure? I wish.”
